How an audio live room works
An audio live room on QeepX has seats and listeners. The host sits in seat 1; anyone the host allows can take a seat and talk, while everyone else listens and chats in text. Choose the seat count that fits the conversation: Single for a solo talk show, Pair for an interview, or 5, 8 or 12 seats for a group. Seats can be shown in a round (host in the centre) or a grid.
Two ways to host
- My Live — your own stream with a permanent room link. Followers get a notification when you start.
- Party Room — an open room anyone can hop into, built for groups, games and late-night talk. See Party Room.
Host tools
- Lock a seat, mute a seat, or clear the room chat.
- Slow mode for the text chat when the room gets busy.
- Room themes and background music.
- Followers-only or invite-only entry · Stage Mode keeps your live hidden from people you choose.
- Translate any chat message into your own language — like Instagram, right inside the room.
Light on data, kind to your battery
Voice rooms use speech-tuned Opus at a low bitrate and stop sending when nobody is talking, so an hour in a party room costs a fraction of what video does. The app keeps the room alive in a small bubble while you use other apps.
Gifts, games and friends
Listeners send 3D gifts to the people on mic, the room can play Ludo together, and the Top 3 gifters are shown at the top of the room. Many QeepX friendships start in an audio room — see Make friends online.
